The Secretary General will meet with Navanethem Pillay, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, and Sergei Ordzhonikidze, Director General of the UN Office at Geneva, on 5 March in Geneva (Switzerland), to discuss the protection of human rights in Europe and cooperation between both organisations, and to introduce his newly appointed Special Representative in Geneva. He will also meet with Marc Perrin de Brichambaut, Secretary General of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), and attend the joint Council of Europe-OSCE high level ’’2+2’’ meeting.
