Law on Communal Fees

The Joint Initiative of the European Agency for Reconstruction and the Council of Europe on ‘Strengthening Local Self-Governance in Montenegro’ is providing assistance to the Ministry of Finance in process of drafting the Amendmends on the Law on Communal Fees.

With a view to support the preparation and finalization of the Amendmends according to the time frame set by the Ministry of Finance , the joint work is starting on Monday, 21 April and will last till September 2008.

The work on the Amendmends will be separated in three stages: First one is composed of election of local and international experts, collection of documentation and data, translation of the documents and experts work on the Law; 

the second will be fact finding mission in several municipalities and the study visit of the experts` team;

and for third stage are planed roundtables and experts` meetings in September 2008.
