Round Table “Free Access to Information and Parliament’s Relations with Media”

 

Within the Joint Initiative of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and the European Agency for Reconstruction to Support Parliamentary Institutions, in cooperation with the Montenegrin Parliament, a Round Table on “Free Access to Information and Parliament’s Relations with Media” is taking place in Podgorica on Friday, 6 June 2008.

Participants will be addressed by Mr. Rudolf BINDIG, former member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) within the Socialist Group (1988-2006) and former member of the German Parliament (1988-2005) (SOC, Germany), Mr. Andre KVAKKESTAD, former PACE member within the Democratic Group (EDG, Norway), Mr. Kimmo SASI, PACE member within the Group of European People’s Parties (EPP/CD, Finland), Ms. Herdis THORGEIRSDOTTIR, a member of the Venice Commission and Vice-President of the European Women Lawyers’ Association, as well as Mr. Milan RADOVIĆ, Secretary General of the Parliament of Montenegro. The Round Table will also be attended by members of working bodies and political clubs, as well as Parliament staff members
